On April 25, 1992, in a meeting of all lodges and chapters, Bro. Sheppard presiding, a vote was called for to establish an Arkansas Grand Lodge. It was moved by Bro. Ealy and seconded by Bro. Calhoun. The motion was carried unanimously and the same vote was called for from the chapters present. The motion to form an Arkansas Grand Chapter was made by Sis. Robin Ealy and seconded by Sis. Earnestine Pains. The motion was carried unanimously. Following the meeting, all Worshipful Masters, Senior Wardens, and Junior Wardens met for the purpose of formulating a slate of officers, Bro. Harmon Ealy, 32° presiding. Bro. Jackie Palmer nominated Bro. Randy Kinsey, W.M., Pillars of Harmony Lodge #145 for Grand Master. Bro. Harmon Ealy, 32°, nominated Bro. Willie Sheppard, Jr. 33°, WM., Solomon's Temple Lodge #147 for Grand Master. A standing vote was taken resulting in five to one in favor of Bro. Sheppard. The other officers were as follows:

  The Masters Council met on September 11, 1992, with Bro. Harmon Ealy presiding, to make preparations for the inauguration, constitution, and installation of officers of the Arkansas jurisdiction. The site and time for the election of Grand Officers for the Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter was agreed upon by the council to be held at Mercy Seat M.B. Church, Little Rock, Arkansas, Saturday, September 26, 1992, at 10:00 a.m.

  On September 26, 1992, the meeting was called to order by the Master's Council President, Bro. Harmon Ealy, W.M. who relinquished the gavel to Bro. Willie Sheppard, Jr. W.M.
